THIS YEARS DERBY WAS GREAT FUN. YOU CAN TELL OUR SCOUTS & THIER FAMILIES PUT A LOT OF TIME & WORK INTO THE CARS. THEY WERE REALY FAST & COOL LOOKING. THANKS CUB SCOUTS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!

AWARDS FOR EVERY SCOUT
At this years derby every Scout was a winner. Each Scout who participated was given a patch. There were also ribbon awards for the top racers in each den as well as medals for the top 3 racers in the Pack. A certificate was handed out to the best design, best in show, and the most unique. |
PINEWOOD DERBY CARS
The scouts and their families did a great job making their cars. So many different designs and styles. Here on the table they all look fast. Can you tell which one is the fastest?

STARTING THE RACING ACTION
Cubmaster Tom made sure each Scout had a fair start with each race. He kept the action moving fast down the track all afternoon. Good work Tom. |
JUDGES MADE THE CALL
With two judges at the end of the track it still was a hard job figuring out who won. The judges did a great job and kept their eyes glued to the action. Many thanks to them for voluteering to help out.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL SCOUTING EVENT FOR ALL
The Scouts sat side by side to cheer for their favorite car. It was such a great feeling to see these boys learning about sportsmanship and good will towards each other. Thanks to the Cub Scouts of Pack 175 for making this years Pinewood Derby a GREAT success. We hope to see you all next year.
